Description

We have introduced our product as an accessory for the IDC® Power Harness SideRings. You have to put one safety belt per side into the side rings of the dog harness, the other half is put into one belt buckle of the vehicle each. For a safe transport it is absolutely necessary to use the fastening on both sides. To further increase safety, it is highly recommended to attach a chest pad to the dog harness, this can prevent the dog from slipping out of the harness, furthermore it can avoid the forces that occur when braking and cornering.

The seat belt adapter only protects the dog to a limited extent in the event of an accident and is only able to reduce the forces that occur in average traffic and to keep the dog calm if the dog harness is correctly adjusted. Its main purpose is to ensure that the dog's movement does not disturb the driver during the journey, or that it does not endanger his physical integrity in the event of a sudden change of direction or braking.

The adapters are available for two weight classes:

- Up to 10 kgs

- From 10 to 25 kgs

The safety adapter can be used with a wide variety of car types. Before using it for the first time, you should check whether the adapter fits into the seat belt socket in your car. Never use a damaged adapter!
